Let's make a Propeller !!
Briefly, diameter of propellers is proportional to pushing power, and pitch of propellers is proportional to speed of boats.
When we compare the propeller of trawler with the propeller of high speed ship, it's obviously.

Propellers of trawlers have large diameter, small area ratio and small pitch. (Propeller-A)
Propellers of high speed ship have small diameter, large area ratio and large pitch. (Propeller-B)
Propellers of trawler have large diameter, small pitch and large reduction raito to slow rpm of the propeller, and transform the engine power into pushing power, in order to increase trawling power.

On the other hand, propellers of high speed ship have small diameter to increase the rpm, have large pitch and small reducation raito to increase the movement distance with each round of propeller, and have light ship weight to speed up.

Relationship between the diameter and pitch is very sensitive.
The size of diameter and the size of pitch depend on hull weight, hull shape, shape of the ship bottom, and others. So making a propeller needs a lot of information of a boat.

For example ... 800(Diameter) x 1100(Pitch)

When you see the propeller from behind the boat, if the rotation of propeller is right, propeller rotating direction is right, and if the rotation of propeller is left, it's left.
Recently, propeller rotating direction is typically right.
But, you had better check it.

Representation of the area ratio varies with propeller maker.
For example ... A, B, C or other letters, U-45, U-50, U-55 or other numbers, etc..
